The Australian coastline has shaped my life, my memories, and my artistic practice. Surrounded by water, Australia is a nation whose identity is inseparable from its shoreline. Our major cities trace the edges of the continent, where the rhythm of the ocean quietly influences the way we live, gather, and remember. 

Light is the enduring subject of my work. I am fascinated by its fleeting dialogue with water- the soft luminosity of dawn, the brilliance of midday, the warmth of late afternoon, and the quiet glow of dusk. Through layered color, texture, and gesture, I seek to capture not only the appearance of the ocean, but its atmosphere, and sense of endless possibility.
